A short selection from the visit

Gustav Mahler

Schonbrunn Palace

... and finally an imposter, alas I was only carrying my phone.
The 18th floor restaurant of the SO Hotel, located on the banks of the Danube. 33 foot tall structural glazing encloses the entire floor, offering panoramic views of the whole city without any perimeter columns to obstruct the view. (best not to overthink what is holding up the roof and ceiling whilst enjoying dinner though)
Other than the led candles on the tables there are no visible lighting fittings, yet as daylight fades, the kaleidoscopic ceiling panels glow in increasing intensity. Magical.
PS : take your wallet
