A handful of dress rehearsal photos of this excellent new play running until this weekend at the Abbey Theatre in St Albans. Written by Richard Bean, famous for 'One Man Two Governors', it's funny, bittersweet and touching. This local production is very good.

First time I've used the OM1ii for dress rehearsal work and it did very well - all shots with the 12-100 f4. The uploads here look as if they're not going up at full resolution, but the ones on my computer at home look excellent - not quite as good as the full frame it's replaced, but more than good enough, and good enough for them to be printed and displayed in the theatre lobby even at quite large sizes. Nice to be able to do this with gear that is compact enough that I will be using it for other purposes too - the FF kit it has replaced (esp lenses) was so large that I left them at home unless I really needed to use them....

The 12-100 lens is so versatile. It seems to just work in so many applications. I miss not having it any more.
