My favourite tree tunnel

What it says in the title, and the advantage is that it's only half a mile from my house... It's known locally as Butterfly Lane.

I love photos like this, it’s the landscape leading and pulling you on - not always easy to catch the light right as you have done. It would be interesting to see a series during the seasons.

Thank you for your kind comment. There was a little bit of dodging and burning involved in processing, but not a great deal.
If I look through my tags, I probably do have a series through the seasons - but this is the first with the OM system

Two more for the tree tunnel series, now that the leaves are at last changing! The first is taken looking down Butterfly Lane then I walked to end and walked back. I think the second picture is about half way back, so that the start of the main road could be seen. Dreadfully cold, damp and windy today so didn't go further down the lane - apart from anything else, I didn't fancy getting caught in the rain if I went further because it's all downhill (and, of course, steep back uphill) from the corner!

I haven't walked our one near here since early October when I was in shorts and T shirt! I might go out later but have to wait in for a delivery.
