Roadside spot

[wanderer]

I was out looking for wild flowers.
This spot looked good for Hawthorn so I stopped.
In a small area 50m long on either side of the road I had a ball photographing wild flowers for a couple of hours.

Some form of Hawkbit



Purpe Vetch



Yellow Vetch

Water Avens



Even the gatepost had something, Wild Geraniums (2 types)



Lichen on an Elder



under a leaf a Jenny longlegs



And I did get my Hawthorn





As the Scots saying goes
'Ne'er cast a cloot 'til the Mae is oot'.
So that's the thermal semmits away until Autumn.
