When we went to WWT Welney Wetlands in Norfolk a few weeks ago the paths were flooded so we could only go to the main hide for some viewing of swans and ducks.
Some paths around Lady Fen from the car park were open though so we did a walk around there after lunch in the cafe. Looking for some birds we suddenly saw these Roe Deer running towards us in a field adjacent to the path. For a moment I thought they were going to jump the fence right into us but they veered off at the last minute of course.
I took the approximate distances out of the exif for this sequence, the closest shots are hardly cropped at all!
OM-1 + 150-400mm TC
65 metres at 500mm
