Nice set of action shots. Good to see there are still pretty good numbers around in South Norfolk.

Thx, not as many as there used to be, a cull two years ago wiped out 300 in one day and change in local crop rotation has not helped, these are at a "new location"for me.

It's unfortunate - to put it mildly - when the for the most part largely positive conservation-wise sporting estate does a Hare cull. Not sure if they are still repeating the "big" cull days of 2014, 2016 and doubtless other years as there was a lot of negative "press" after photos of the piles of dead animals were widely released. By chance opening the curtains this morning I could see 4 Hares chasing each other on the set aside at the front of our house so maybe I'll have to try and "shoot" them this weekend - although the Cattle & Great White Egret feeding on adjacent marshes at the back of the house would probably be much easier targets!

Even I have to admit there where a lot around, numbers have made up a bit but my old haunt is depleted a fair bit , it was good as several hedges and you could carefully sneak up, sit still and wait until they came along and get some nice ground level close ups, where I am going now will be OK once the wheat is taller then they will use the headlands/margins more to move around and not just sit in the middle of a huge field. The other night there was 28 in the front field at 10pm, 16 next morning at 6.30- all gone by sun up! I think David Tipling goes to Ringstead for HaresEdward
