I often try to avoid photo-realism Ian. I can get photo real shots out of my iPhone. I try to make a final image that has some "mood" to it, and I view PP tools as one of the ways to achieve that. I know some photographers hate that sort of thing, but in my view, all that matters is the final image has some impact. I seem to recall a thread about PP vs realism a while ago and it split the community. But I think there's room for all tastes!
