I'm still playing catch up in the garden and still dodging the rain showers, and discovered this fellow in the long grass and weeds I was clearing - apparently, a Cream Spotted Tiger moth.

I didn't stop to change the lens on my OM-1 and this was taken using with my trusty old 14-35 f/2 DSLR lens that happened to be on the camera - not the best lens for insects as it doesn't focus particularly close!

This one is out of focus but shows the wings more closed.

When I first discovered the moth, its wings were open wider - this was taken on my phone (5 year old Huawei P30 Pro).
