Thanks for the comments. I should have said that the lens was my Kiron 105mm.

That must have been when there was a population of them in some thick, twiggy bushes in our garden. We saw them quite often, so getting a photo was quite easy, but they wander around quite a lot on the leaf so this side view lasting for long enough is rare. Also, I saw mostly females.
