    Using my recently aquired 75-300mm.

    Works well, and is so light. Yet to use it when birding...

    So light compared to the 300mm Pro

          Nothing wrong with that Mark. I might look into one, my longest at the moment is the 40-150 2.8 and that is quite heavy after a couple of miles.

            Lovely image Mark. I've looked at the 75-300 more than once but just can't justify getting one.

                That's a good shot with the venerable 75-300 it's so lightweight isn't it? I like that butterfly so colourful and detailed. Nice shot
