A parasitic fly that targets garden pests, so one not to swat!
The one parasitic fly I dread is the cluster fly. They parasitise earthworms, itself not good, but they are attracted to the warmth of our house in the autumn, seemingly in large numbers, and they hide very effectively, only emerging in large numbers again when the house is heated during the winter, when they think it's Spring.
