    Found this one in the forest today...

    Nice catch. I looked it up and we have the same butterfly in the USA and we refer to it as a "Cabbage White"/*Pieris rapae. Wikipedia has this information about the caterpillar:

    "The caterpillar, often called the **imported cabbageworm**, is a well-known agricultural pest that feeds on cruciferous crops like cabbage, kale, and broccoli[](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pieris_rapae "1")."
