Saturday's events were largely abandoned because of high winds. Yesterday was much better but plenty of thermals made it quite bumpy up there.

It looks sunny and warm - very jealous: yesterday we were at a dog agility competition watching my brother and his wife competing with their 3 dogs. It was (allegedly) around 16C but goodness only knows what the wind chill factor was!

Lovely images, I'd quite like to go up in one of them.

LadyG Hehe, it was 'only' 22-23C yesterday but the sunshine makes all the difference We're just entering an Indian summer according to my weather app. 32C tomorrow and high 20s for the next 7-10 days.

A great set of photos. The planes are so colourful! The light aircraft we get around here seem so drab in comparison, maybe it's just the UK light or I need to go and watch them low down at the airfield.
