A helicopter over Plymouth....but not as you know it
A helicopter over Plymouth....but not as you know it
My first attempt at layering images in Affinity photo. The three pictures are of a helicopter, a cloud and the stuff at the bottom is a tree line in a local park.
Yeah it's a bit crap but i'm sure someone would wear it on a t shirt!
Maybe once I learn a bit more. This was really just slap dash, and looking at it now, I should have isolated each element of the picture then layered them. The cloud is bleeding through the helicopter and all the colour adjustments I did had an effect on everything and not just the cloud layer but i'll get the hang of it once I bother to RTFM, if I ever bother to RTFM that is!
Thanks. I'm trying to do a bit every day and push myself to do things i've not done before.
The way I see it is that if I make a mistake it doesn't matter, I can always do it again but differently until I get a result I like.
I'm also taking the opportunity to take pics for the monthly competition and i'll change that almost every day. I'll swap it back to my favourite for the judging period.
Also, I take a camera out walking the dog so there's always new pictures to edit and I like the challenge of making something boring into something interesting.
