Things are looking up here, at last. It has been depressingly wet here for months, with only occasional pauses for a few days here and there. And when it rains it has been very heavy and prolonged. Farmers fields around here are still flooded in parts. But by Friday the temperature is going up to 26/27C and after a lunch time shower today no more rain is forecast for a whole week! The temperature has been around 13C over the last few days and we've needed to light the fire in the evenings. The temperature inside the house has only been 16-17C. Just as cold as mid-winter.

Ian Contrary to EU and UK, the Victorian autumn has been idyllic, mostly cloudless, clear blue skies and balmy sunshine, 16'C-22'C. (just as it looks in my picture) Too good to last much longer, methinks ...

Not in Tassie yet, Ian. As mentioned to Larry, I have a draft itinerary from July 23. Kids all back at school, and fewer tourists.
