After quite a gap Kingfisher had been spotted at the Wildlife Park. On the river Torne and on a pond in the Cheetah enclosure.
In the enclosure they are sometimes obscured by the reeds, so it can be a waiting game for the bird or reeds to move. I was informed the white tip to the beak is a juvenile.
We have a visitor from Australia at the moment if we get a reasonable forecast the plan is to have a day there,(it is 27 miles according to Apple Maps).
