Here are a few birds from the Wandoo national park about 80km east of Perth. Wandoo is a white eucalypt tree endemic to the south west.
Rufous Treecreeper (range is south west Australia and parts of South Australia). Both on Wandoo trees.

Purple-crowned lorikeet (occur across southern Australia)

Hooded robin found Australia wide. The male is black and white with its black 'hood', the female grey.

Western Yellow Robin (from south-west Western and southern South Australia) - very similar looking to the Eastern Yellow Robin from Eastern Australia

A shot after it has taken off - not a great shot but is shows off its bright yellow belly

And a bonus Grey shrike-thrush (typical of the naming of numerous Australian birds, not related to either shrikes or thrushes but is supposed to be a good singer)

All taken with OM1-mk2 with 150-400+TC and MC14
