Not something I was expecting to see today! The weather changed and I was on my way home when spotted this Hobby resting from the car, I managed a very brief couple of shots before it spotted me and was off!

Excellent shot. First ones of the year appeared this week over our marshes but only hunting high (for hirundines presumably) so waiting for the big dragonflies to hatch before they become photographable here! Even then, rare to see one perched as well as yours.
