moderate weather today for a few hours out , I had forgotten that the world and his wife and there dogs were off work this week . even the local RSPB reserve were warning people to park outside and walk in . tried to find a quiet spot but nigh on impossible got a few shots though including a small flock of wigeon
A nice set. Yes it was busy today at the RSPB reserve we went to in Suffolk, doesn't help with some hides closed due to flooding.
I know what you mean about the Curlew flight shots and backgrounds. I've been trying for some flight shots of Redshanks, I've found the trick is to let the other half walk ahead along a path by some salt marsh, the 'shanksies scare easily and fly up with all their complaining calls. The non-photographer can be useful but it is a work in progress :-)
