Bit of a mouthful

I took my brand new 150-400 down to the river (is there a song lyric in there?) for its fir trial and saw a darter dive under the water and emerge with a fish. The fish seemed to be just a bit big to easily swallow. It spent sometime trying, emerged from the river onto the bank pursued by a second darter, got spooked by a couple of young children and disappeared down the river with fish still in beak.
