Another supa set. The grebes are superb. Don't think they live in the UK

Quite scarce (mainly) winter visitors - when not in this plumage! Occasionally pairs over summer and breeding has been suspected (but I'm not sure confirmed). Saw 1 or 2 over the winter off North Norfolk coast and 2 or 3 a couple of weeks ago in the Firth of Forth.

Agree with Mark - another excellent set (and also favour the Red-necked Grebes).

Your Blackbird is interesting: looks like the bi-coloured form of Red-winged Blackbird with the narrow yellow fringing to the red shoulder patch. Pretty sure Tri-coloured is restricted to the Western coastal US states (mainly California) and mostly sedentary.
