    You are right Iain, it's hard to beat a nice male Bullfinch but I haven't seen one for years. We have got the neighbour's Buddleias up against our fence but no Bullies and I have never seen one in our garden. Lovely shots, especially the second one.

              The visits from the Bullfinches continued with 4 males being spotted one day (photo below of 2 of them) and a single male with a female the next day (no photos) but nothing over the weekend so far.
