Very nice.
Looks like a male, they are more drab than the female.
The female does courtship, lays eggs and b****rs off.
The male does the rest.

I once found one on a nest in the Cairngorms. I had just taken the last photo on a spool and, guess what, no spare film.

Thanks but not really ,looks like a few weeks job .had the dressing re.done today but can’t as yet drive as I can’t wear my glasses so had to be taken . Got a few soft tissue injuries to .. and thankfully got a i.pad as can’t focus on the t.v with no specs
