Apologies for the very poor quality, but this was a tiny spec on the frame using my 75-300 @300mm, taken from our hotel balcony. I think it's a black kite.
* Update - recent info suggests it's a yellow-billed kite (Milvus aegyptius)
It's better than I got with my Tamron 75-300 when I was there. It was the first time I'd seen anything like a black kite (and kites were not as prevalent then in England). The next one was actually in Northamptonshire. I saw it, didn't have a camera and didn't let the twitchers know either. I watched it regularly on my drive to work for a week before it moved on...
