The massive inland sea in the north of the Netherlands.



The Island on the spit is Vuurtoren island which is an old defensive fort and lighthouse.

I used a red filter in photoshop on this,not sure if it works.

Interested in any comments.

Not sure about the filter yet but think a crop off the bottom to loose the rough/light piece of sea might help IMHO.

Hello Andy,

Just catching up with the "old" pictures on the forum. Funny I can learn from you about my own country. Never heard of the island before and thought you meant Pampas, another small isle with a fortress near Amsterdam.
