  • Loctudy church in Brittany

I am a bit ashamed to be showing this in the same forum as the wonderful photographs posted by Nick. It was hand held and with the on-board flash at ISO 1600, but this is an interesting 11th c. church dedicated to St Tudy who, I believe, was a 6th c. Welsh monk. I hope Nick will put me right if I'm wrong! Apologies for all the noise in the shot.

Interesting to see the building style and the use of pillars in the nave. Looks an imposing structure, do you have any exterior views?

Nick, thanks for the interest. I do have some exterior views and will post them later. Also, some pictures of one or two other interesting churches in Brittany and I'll post these too.

      Thanks again

        A few more from Loctudy

        Exterior of the church

        Church Interior

Described as being a pre-historic obelisk with a medieval cross added (if my French hasn't let me down!)

I haven't removed any of the annoying buildings, etc., in these, but I am not looking for perfection only interest!
