  • Early shots with 35-100

Here are a couple of shots from the 35-100mm - really enjoying playing with shallow depth of field

Ems (pretty harse light, used a relector)

    Squizzle 35-100 + EC14 (slight crop)

It is a sharp lens and the amount of detail is scary - Hope to try it in the studio over the weekend

    Nice shots Dave.
I have been thinking about one of these for some time now, after seeing these I am more convinced that I need one.

I have just done something silly......SRS has one of their last 14-35mm still on offer........I have placed an order. I now need to sell more lenses

That said, the 35-100 is a revelation. One you have tried the top pro glass, you dont want to go back.

I bet you dont envy my credit card bill

Given the prices that SRS had on the lenses, against the normal price, it basically meant that for I got the 7-14mm for free.

I am now trying to sell off more lenses to help recoup my cash.

                  50mm, 12-60mm, 50-200 MK1.

Dave, are your samples shot at f/2?

Crikey - look at the detail in that tree rat... incredible detail I must say. You're making me very envious Dave.

Thanks for the comments, here are a few more shots

Ian, the portrait was actually at f5 the one below is at f2.8, the squirrel photo was at f2.8 but with the convertor so an effective f3.5

The studio shots below were f6.3 & f7.1

                          Cheers

                          Dave

                          Ems (f2.8)

Certainly is a cracker lens ther Dave.

Great portraits but have a weakness for Squizzle. There are none in Oz.
