Abandoned House closeup

I found this abandoned house and the window with draped curtain caught my eye. I also wanted to get in the brick chimney inside, but had to line up the window at an angle and then correct the distortion in CS3. If you look at the window and power meter, you can see it is angled, but I liked that all the elements of an abandoned house was in the shot, ie; broken window, power meter has been pulled, overgrown with blackberry's and peeling paint.

That's a great composition Danny.
The tangle of stems at the bottom set the rest off perfectly.

Hi Danny, I agree with Stephen, it's a great shot and compositionally it's fabulous. I soptted the turned up curtain straight away and think that's an excellent feature. I know (or guess) that you didn't do that, but it is a great way of making the eye want to see inside!!
