27th May Photo shoot at RAF Brize Norton. With the impending retirement of the RAF C-130J Hercules fleet a photo shoot was held. This event was postponed from 29th April as the fleet was busy with the Sudan air lift.
There was to photograph 2 x C-130J Hercules, 1 x A400M Atlas, 1 X A330 KC2 Voyager, 2 x C-17A.

The last one I flew with the RAF, was a VC10.............

Yes! RAF Brize Norton, is the home of the air mobility fleet squadrons. Every where you looked there seemed to be aircraft. It is a very busy place.
I think the final flights of the VC10 tankers were in 2013. Since then the standard tanker in service with many European air forces is the Airbus A330 MRRT (Multi Role Tanker Transport)
