  • Havana buildings. Last set

Here's my last set from Cuba, Havana buildings. I found composition a real struggle here, it was hard to get a building in a frame I really wanted without interference from another building or obstruction, I wasn't really sure how best to chose the composition so winged it. Any advice though in these situations would be welcome. Hope you enjoy.

Look good to me Lee. Buildings in towns can be a challenge.

I like them. Unless you can step back, difficult in a cramped space, then the only option is to gain height. Put the camera on a monopod, hold it up, and use the app to fire the shutter.
      Most used: EM5i + 12-200mm, In briefcase: E-PM2 + 12-42mmEZ
      Film Kit OM4Ti + Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit ) 28-105mm F/2.8-3.8, Sigma III (OM fit) 75-200mm F/2.8-3.5, Vivitar Series 1 (OM fit) 100-500mm, Zuiko 50mm F/1.2

Lovely work. Reminds me of our trips to Cuba.
Never been to Havana (for some reason, never fancied it) but have visited Santiago de Cuba, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Moron, Holguin, Colon etc.
          A wonderful country indeed.

Amazing pictures. Love the combination of old and new.

Cuba is a country I really want to visit. Places with incredible history always get out high on my list.

It was so cramped up, I was probably stressing to much about it to be honest instead of just taking the shot but Im glad with the results. Thank you!
