    Ring of Steall Hike and Camp

    Spent last weekend walking the Ring of Steall and camping near one of the summits. Changeable weather, some OK and some great.

    Not an easy hike with a bag full of camping gear, food and water but totally worth it.

      That looks amazing – what wonderful scenery. I don't think I could ever have managed that but no chance now. A lovely shot of your wife (I assume) and dog taking a break in the sunshine. Out of interest how do you pronounce Steall, what does is rhyme with?

      Wonderful scenery - I expect the dog didn't want to leave?

          Nice set of photos of a great area. I have been to Steall Falls a number of time and hike over to Nevis Range, but not done the Ring of Steall yet. Will not be for a while, as although the springer will love it, far too far for a 19 year old Jack.

          Not jealous really.

              Yes that is Emma, my better half.

              As Wanderer says it rhymes with wheel. Like Steel.
