Another Stonechat at the Marshes in Marazion, - Late April 2022. Decided to give up trying to process images as I would for comps, which I thought required immediate impact to grab the judges attention if they were to stand a chance against the composite and storyboard portrait type things ( over processed fantasy character, or heavily tattooed model of your picking in improbable situation, of your choice ) and revert to my normal style and just try and keep looking natural and real. Olympus OMD E1 Mk3 / 300mm F4 Pro / ISO 400 / 1/1000 sec at f8. Bird was partially backlit and so have had to try and bring out details in shadows, particularly around its left eye ( right to viewer ) which on the original file was almost devoid of detail.
