I've just downloaded and started experimenting with the 5.3 version with full OM-1 support released early today. Impressed by first attempts and so I just re-processed a RAW using PL 5.3 which I'd previously processed on the preceding release which would process OM-1 images but without the all important lens modules. This Slaty Spinetail was cropped about 50% from the original and other than that just processed using Deep Prime. OM-1 + 300mm f4 PRO + MC1.4 ISO 1600. I won't say which is which!

It is a lot sharper (no.1) but no difference in colour or noise.

Ian, did you mean to say number 1 is sharper (respect your opinion of course if not a typo!)? To my eye the 2nd is clearly sharper. As to colour & noise, I'm not sure I was expecting any real difference in terms of colour as both were processed by a version of PL5 that would open and process OM-1 RAW's and it was my understanding that it is mainly the matched lens profiles that were added yesterday. In terms of noise there is noticeable improvement at ISO 800 & 1600 at the resolution I work/view at and even more so on those pictures taken at ISO 3200 and beyond (which for my recent trip is the majority). I reprocessed quite a few of my recent photos last night and I'm still very happy with the improvement & overall results for the OM-1 ... which at the end of the day is what's most important for me
