We had thunderstorms the day before and it was a damp and gloomy start to the day, but it brightened up as the day went along. It was a very pleasant 22C with sunny spells.
Glad you were able to get out and celebrate, and nice pics to go with it. It was a strange affair for me. I'm an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" royalist but was still a little disappointed by the lack of Union Jacks and bunting around Manc (on the software engineers' annual afternoon out - Leeds this year - it was clear Yorkshire is mad for it).
