clearing out the garage the other day and I found a couple of old black plate glass shelves I had forgotten about ,10+ years ago .. so before taking to the tip I realised one of them would be handy for macro reflections especially as it fits neatly inside my mini home studio .. just tried a few shots out using the omd1-mkiii and Yi-42.5 f1.8 lens . worked a treat ,just a play so far but gonna be useful when the flowers /blossom starts

This seems like a good idea. I like the model. You’ve reminded me that I wanted to get a little mirror to carry around in my bag for mushroom and flower shots. It was an idea I saw on a TV photography program with Mr Packham, something on the BBC I think.

Over the past couple of years bill I have looked for something like this in the shops with no joy , little realising I already had it forgotten about in the garage .. these shots were taken using my plastic home studio box from e.bay , last night I bought a upgraded one from there … the thinking being that I’m going to be doing more home macro stuff in the coming months due to the rising cost of fuel , joy riding on the off chance of some bird shots is now out of the windowOriginally posted by BDennis View PostThis seems like a good idea.
