Legacy Macro Setup

I've been playing with a set of bellows I got from and ebay and thought I would post a shot, it's not great but I just wanted to show the sort of magnification it's capable of.

this is the watch that was taken from. Taken with the Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm/2.4 mounted the right way round.

and here's the setup, a set of unknown make M42 macro bellows with the Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm/2.4 reverse mounted on them.

Very good. Bellows plus standard lens reversed is a highly effective and well proven combination. I use an Olympus OM 50 f1.8 which gives good results.

I use the OM Bellows with the OM 80mm bellows lens, which is excellent and gives a reasonable working distance.

Put a 24mm lens on and you can focus right into the front element.
