This was magical to watch as the mist rolled down the valley but so difficult to capture. I really struggled with the processing. It's a colour shot but maybe I'd have been better converting it to B&W?

Thanks guys. I was surprised how little colour there was in the scene but you were right OM B&W just looked wrong somehow when I tried it. Talking to folks who've lived round here for ages they've never seen the mist with snow before so I think it's quite a rare occurrence.

Lovely scene Phill and captured well. We've had a bit of snowfall up here but still waiting on the first big dump. The hills are covered now though and that should be them white for the winter now.Olympus E-30
