  • Loweswater before dawn

    Well I had to work hard to get this to work for me as there was a lot of cloud before dawn and I didn't think it was going to progress into anything so I set off to a different location. I also messed up some camera settings on my latest camera so didn't get the files I wanted. Sorted now anyway. This is how I remembered it looked but not how the shot looked. I am loving the latest LR masking tools.

      It certainly looks to me like an authentic pre-dawn in the Lakes, Alf! I think you've got the colours spot-on, and I love that view over the water to Melbreak...
