  • A couple of shots from Slimbridge

I don't know if any of you saw the news reports about the Otters at Slimbridge WWT who like climbing trees? I took a few shots of them myself last weekend

I really like all three of these captures, Sharon.

I think the little fellow in the second one is thinking - next time I'll bring my Olympus and take one of you! Just waiting now for someone to tell me it's not a fellow!

I like these. I hadn't realised how high they climb.

I want to know where you got all that sunshine from!

These are nice shots, although your taks is actually not helped by the sunshine with the high contrast and proliferation of shadows. But the otters make up for all that.

              Hi Sharon, and welcome.

These are lovely shots capturing a behavior of otters that I wasn't aware of. What next, swimming monkeys?

Brilliant - I must go there.

                    Which camera/lens did you use?

Thanks everyone. I was astounded to see the otters in a tree, very amusing indeed I would have happily stood there all day taking pictures. It was the highlight of an otherwise rather cold and grim day.....and they had run out of bacon sarnies at the shop!! I'll definately be going back again, next time I'll take my own lunch LOL.

                        Alan - I used my E30 and a 70-300mm lens.
