          This is beautiful, Paul. I love the lighting and the glow you seem to create in several of your recent images. Is that a post treatment or am I imagining things?

            Is "diffusion" a process or a photo software editing tool.? It creates a glow but maintains the focus. It is very pleasing and you are using it effectively by adding just the right amount .

            I'm using the Color Efex tool that comes with the Nik collection. There is a set of effects under "soft focus" that includes a number of diffusion pre-sets, but you can also apply it manually too. It's a bit like taking the LR "clarity" slider to negative values.
