    One of my favorite animals to photograph is a horse.
    Here are several from my trip to an Amish Farm near where we vacation.

    All of the horses are work horses. Like these big Belgiums. that pull plows, wagons and carts. The black horses are used to pull the carriages that the Amish ride in.

    There is a mare on the farm by the name of RITA. Here is a photo of her 11th offspring.

    And here is her latest foal, #12! This little one was really shy and I was lucky to get this photo. She was in total shade and hiding behind her mother.
    The children on the farm pointed out to me that Rita has had 12 foals and their mother has had 12 children! It's true.

      There were about 16 horses standing together in a cluster. But by the time I got there, most of them had taken off to a greener pasture. I was lucky to get these.
