  • Birds from our Summerhouse

We were sitting the summerhouse on a beautiful sunny afternoon last week so I decided to get my camera and attempt to photograph some of the birds which were waiting to use the feeders. I don't normally photograph birds from there as it faces south and the feeders are directly opposite, which means that I am always shooting into the light. We are not getting a great choice of birds at the moment and the Blue Tits and Dunnocks failed to appear so I had to make do with Goldfinches and House Sparrows.

    E-M1 II, 300mm f 4 and MC-14.

What a shame, only goldfinch and little brown job. The 300 + 1.4 is a great combination for these little creatures.

Many thanks for your comments and likes. However, I wasn't very happy with the quality of the images, which were my own conversions from the raw files. They seemed very noisy, so I have replaced them with cropped and tweaked versions of the original JPEGs. I think my camera has more idea about what it is doing than I do.
