      I was sad to read this news earlier. One of the greats who was never F1 champion.

      A true gentleman of the sport.

        His autobiography is fantastic what he did in the Mille Miglia in 1955 1000 miles in just over 10 hours averaging 98mph over half hour faster than the greatest driver in history Fangio

              Sad news. He will always be remembered by the phrase "who do you think you are, Stirling Moss" which I remember, but not what it was an advert for
              4/3 Kit E510, E30 + 35macro, 11-22, 14-45 (x2), 14-54, 40-150 (both types), 70-300,
              m 4/3 EM1MkII + 60 macro, 12-100 Pro, 100-400
              FL20, FL36 x2 , FL50, cactus slaves etc.

                I saw him a number of times at Brands Hatch and was at Goodwood on the day he crashed. You felt a sickening feeling when he didn't appear on the next lap. His ability to get a car going quickly was quite remarkable.
