Following on from the "Where was this photographed challenge" I thought some might like to see a little more of Jack's Rake. As these include my brother in law's nephew I have selected images which do not identify him.
We approached from this side of the tarn as we had been exploring another scramble on the way up - this proved to be something of an error as we got caught in cloud as we neared the top.
You can just make out the line of the route - diagonally left to right - from the bottom of the gully across the face of the crag to the left of the summit

The first part of the route is quite grassy, and in this instance a little damp. The next shot is taken from just above the tree.
About midway just before the rockiest section.

As we neared the top of the route the cloud dropped which made route finding a little interesting.
But folk were still ascending as we dropped down around the back to the tarn.
