Met a long time friend for a walk halfway between homes (Ware in Hertfordshire) Sun didn't come out fully till mid afternoon but here's 3 pictures along the Canal between Ware and Hertford. All taken with the 45 1.8 (nice easy lightweight camera and lens) as we walked nearly 13 miles. !

I love the canal and pleasing you captured it in your neck of the woods. 13 miles of walking must have stopped for a pint or two or a decent cup of tea.

No pubs, beer before 6pm and i'd be asleep
Tea at the start and end plus a drink I took with me at our lunchtime stopover on a bench by the river. I must admit that 2/3 years ago 13 miles would be a walk in the Park (sorry pun) but when I got back home to Suffolk i felt tired and I certainly slept well that night. Met a few people walking but no-one stopped to talk and we kept our distance, we may return to do the southern leg of the walk when we can.
