  • Visit to Ely

So wifey said, "We should go away for a night or two", "Ok' says I, the ever dutiful husband. "Where too?". "I will consult my list" says she. And so we drove to Ely, a short journey away.
We had booked a B&B at this place, https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_...e_England.html. A tiny cabin but very well appointed.

Here are a few pics from our trip. More to follow as I get time. Our barge is not the Duke of Lancaster, that was parked opposite, I just liked the wheelbarrow on top.

When you have a subject that has such texture, form, contrast etc., it lends itself so well to good monochrome production. This is a great example of when B&W works.

Next time you go Dave, take the tour that takes you up the octagonal tower.
