More Toy Soldiers

Hi Everyone, after the success of my Gears of War macro shots last month I decided to do some more with the proper green Toy Soldiers.

So after some more strange looks from the neighbours and very wet knees I have pleasure in submitting the following.

Im really pleased with the silhouette shot and plan to do a set based on this idea in the future.

All taken on the e30 with 35mm Macro and FL-36 off camera and then altered the colours in PS CS4

Thanks for the comments, oh yes you can have lots of fun in the macro world, if I win a monthly challenge, macro will be my theme

Very effective - I particularly like the silhouette and the guy wading through the flower pot.

'fraid you mised out on ths month's challenge by a single point though (see the results thread - http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7400). Maybe you can barter with the winner for the "honour" of organising the next one

What great fun! I love that silouhette, even if I probably can't spell it

I don't think I could get away with buying a box of plastic solders, my wife already thinks I'm mad and there are no grandchildren on the horizon.

lol John yeah my wife & daughter think im mad too, although they have learnt that if it keeps me quiet then let me carry on

Yeah might be a good idea so they dont call the men with the white jackets

When we get better weather here in South Wales I'll do some more silhouettes
