You know what they say ..... if you have the tools use them.
Who are "they"?
Tutsi's with machete's, cutting down Hutu's?
Sorry, but just because one may have the tools, doesn't mean the tools should be abused.
A person who can do a lot of nice things with photoshop (or other editors) may be a terrible photograph, but a good photo editor... and that in essence doesn't have much to do with photographic skills.
The picture in question, looks nice with the bush and the sky and the cloud and the water. Maybe it's been a tour through photoshop, and maybe it's just nice because it was shot by a good photographer.
Pesonally I like the small natural imperfections one can find in real life...
I like all the shots. I have visualized No1 without the bush and for me, I don't think it adds anything to the composition. I like it as it is. A nice series.
Thanks guys ,no need to argue they were pretty well as shot, just converted in LR2 with no major tweeks, but saying that I just put the same images through CO4 and they seem much better than throug LR.
Regards Paul.
One day I hope to be the person my dogs think I am.
No arguing going on... just an exchange of opinions. ... and being on that path... you might want to bring a chain saw with you next time... and a cloud buster
I really like the look of that location seen through your lens.
