Stamford Mill Weir

A few months ago I wanted a shot where I could blur the water on the weir and also affect the pond in the same way. I wasn't too happy with it but applied a little bit of HDR over the past few days which has made the large shot much more pleasing (to me anyway) Very 'postcard-like' bringing out all the detail and colours of the alotment behind which were in dark shadow, and reducing the glare from the retreating sun.

I like the image but it looks cold the effect on the water is ice like I would try to warm up the image and make the most of the sky and try to bring out the reflections in the water. I know this is easyer said than done because I have been fighting as you know with Photomagix, just when you are close the whole thing turns into a disaster.
