    I haven't a clue what species of butterfly this is but its my 1st attempt at macroish photography.

      Idea leuconoe - From South East Asia and a regular at most butterfly houses.

      It has a number of common names (rice paper butterfly, wood nymph, or tree nymph) and is a beautiful poser often hanging upside down very beautifully.

      Sorry not a Marbled White, and not a UK native as they need the rainforest conditions. Nicely shot.

        Ah, I stand corrected. I'd assumed it was a UK species and didn't look closely enough. I guess the clue was in "zoo"
